Mineral Botanica Soft Matte Lip Cream in No. 11 (Merlot)

Well, I decided to post 2 review in a row.

Just because I haven't write anything in a month, so..

So now, I'm gonna share you about another.. local brand.

Mineral Botanica Soft Matte Lip Cream.

I never try any NYX SMLC so,, I can't compare this to them.

But it says lip cream not liquid lipstick.

 

The packaging is grey colored long tube.

It made from thick plastick covered with sticker with theid brand logo and ingredients.

And you the bottom of the tube is clear so you can see the actual color.

Also when you flip it you can see the shane name and number

 

The applicator is doe foot.

It feels a little bit ticklish for me.

But this lipstick smells so good.

I'm obsessed with it.

It smells like my favorite watermelon bubble gum.

I could be wrong but I feels so familiar with the smell and I freaking love it.

Like I've said before, I got mine in the shade Merlot or no.11

On their Instagram they explain this color as matte red with bluish hue, like the rich colors of mature wine.

Yes, like wine.

But in my opinion it comes out like a chocolate to me.

You know when you eat a melted chocolate and it smears in your hand.

Something like chocolate with a little bit of mauve in it.

They claimed to be

INTENSE VIVID COLOR

EXTRACT ENRICHED

NO COLOR TRANSFER

LONG LASTING

And yes, they are vivid. Pretty pigmented color.

No color transfer? not really, it does transfer a little 

Long lasting? YASSS!!

I wear this for around 5 hours and I eat "gorengan" (fritters) like a savage

But the lipstick stays. It does fade a very little. But the color is still there.

And it doesn't dries out my lips. Which is a good thing.

As you can see down bellow, the upper is when it haven't dry yet and the bottom is when it dries

 

 You need to wait 2-3 minuter for the matte finish. 

If you applying this a lot, like me

You'l need to wait longer to make it dry matte.

Or you can just blot it with tissues.

It won't change the color.
